In the beginning...

The time to leave draws nearer and i find myself thinking about what it will be like to be in another part of the world for three months. Am i worried, nervous, scared? Well not really although i am a bit anxious. Ready to start on something new. One chapter ends as another begins. My thoughts are both in the past three months and also in the coming three months. I feel very satisfied and blessed. As i go out to learn and experience something new and exciting I invite you to travel with me through the words written in this online journal. Until next time.

Haha...thats patience, not patients. But maybe you will have some patients of sorts in Kenya who you influence positively.

Hey Sarah: Jer's family in Ontario wishes you God's blessing and a wonderful experience as you follow a new path! Wow! We'll be following the blog too, and just really like this opportunity to share in and hear about what you're doing! We'll be thinking of Peter too, we know what it's like for "close friends" to be apart!

Sarah!! It' been so long since we've talked and or seen each other. Every once in awhile I hear about your through your mom, through my mom at teacher confrences that they go to. Now I get this e-mail that you're off to Kenya. That's so amazing!! I wish you best of luck in all that you're doing. aww this kinda makes me sad. I'm remembering all the good times we had together in good ol' JKCS. You are the most amazing friend anyone could have...and I'm glad that I had you. Love ya gurl!!

Well, you are somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean by now. As always you are in God's care. It was neat to have you come in to say good-bye to my class. We'll be praying for you there too. (I have a feeling keeping up with this blog may be as challenging as your internship.) I am certainly enjoying it so far.
PS. The Care of Creation link is awesome. Check out Craig Sorley's (your new boss) article.

I was really a happy I had a chance to say good bye to you at the school. It was great to see you again and it will be great to hear about all the things you will be doing in Kenya. May God bless you and the work that you will be doing. May it all Glorify Him and His creation.
Looking forward to hearing about your trip.

Jane is right Sarah, Kenya will never be the same again! The queen of HiLo has arrived. It will take you a few days to get your feet on the ground when you get there, but I know you will be a blessing to those you meet. By now you will be in the air again between Holland and Kenya. As always we will be praying for you. Many blessings along the way.
PS. It was a pleasure to bring you to the airport and then be able to visit with you for a while there. A priviledge for sure.
