Welcome! This is a journal of my experiences as an intern in Limuru, Kenya. The internship is focused on environmental stewardship and governance. I will be partnering with the Care of Creation organization. (check out link) The work will involve following up on conferences hosted by the organization. At the last conference the 600+ participants made commitments to environmental action. My internship will focus on identifying and supporting these post-conference policies. It will include documenting the status of environmental initiatives among participants, following up specific initiatives and communicating this to a number of different stakeholders. This internship is made possible with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Hey Sarah, what kind of trees were you guys planting? They kinda look like Oaks and Chestnuts
Also seem to be very big holes for little trees. Are you putting something else in there too. You sure have the whole community behind you. Nice to see too.
