I didn't get a chance to go into this church but it was definitly beautiful from the outside. The tea fields are something else. So green! Tea labours make about 3-5 ksh's for every kg of tea they pick. That's not a lot. 70 ksk is about $1 CAN.

Hey sarah, I have a friend here and we are talking about Kenya. We met a man from Kenya, Alfred, at a conference for missionaries. I guess he works for Mumias Sugar Company. He's a chaplain at Booker Academy. Have you heard of these places? You should go. He would welcome you if you did travel there.

Hey Nicole, I haven't heard of those places but i bet if i asked someone they may know. All Kenyans are so welcoming regardless if they know you or not. They open their doors without fear.

Hi Sarah,

I have enjoyed reading your blog! What wonderful work you are doing. It's so great to see and hear you raise the kind of questions you do. Beat's the classroom lecture, doesn't it?
